It's been awhile...

Hello DA friends!

Life has been uber busy with the grandchild, whom I watch several days a week.  Also, I had been stuck in an artist's block for what seems like forever, so I just wasn't working on anything I felt really inspired by.  So, now, I just submitted one that I'm really proud of, even if it is inspired by another artist's work.  Hopefully no one will be offended by it, as it gives me some great practice, particularly since I haven't been drawing as much of late and feeling a bit rusty!

I drew it freehand and put my own artist style on it, and used an entirely different medium, so it was a bit of a challenge to sort of "recreate" in my own style, but also is easily recognized as being inspired by another work.  

Anyway, that being said, I'm feeling very inspired to draw some more!  Hooray!  It feels good to have my pencils in hand and mind on a project or two!

Just wanted to check in and say thanks again, Deviants, for all your beautiful works and inspiring creativity!  I browse the site very often, just to look at what others are doing and marvel again and again at all the talent!!!
